Position Overview: This entry-level position is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in the skilled trades, with opportunities for quick growth and career development. The ideal candidate will assist in concrete cutting operations and contribute to various construction tasks while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Learn new skills by assisting concrete cutting operators.
- Prepare job sites and set up equipment, such as saws and drills, ensuring all tools are ready.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to carry out cutting, coring, and demolition tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Help with cleanup and organization of the job site, including removing debris and storing tools.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of concrete cutting tools and safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
