Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Concrete Cutting Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete cutting, demonstrating precision and craftsmanship in various construction environments.
- Operate a variety of concrete cutting equipment, including wall saws, flat saws, and core drills.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine requirements.
- Perform cutting, coring, and demolition tasks while adhering to project timelines.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to coordinate job site activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including post-job site cleanup.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress or issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in concrete cutting within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete cutting techniques and tools.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
